About the Opera® Comfort Sling with Split Legs

The Opera® Comfort Sling with Split Legs is designed to provide high dependency users optimal comfort when in-situ. The split leg design is without aperture and the leg sections can be easily folded away to prevent heat build up, ensuring patient comfort. The sling is attached to hoists with a loop fixing.

Measuring instructions:

  • A: from middle of arm, round the back, to middle of other arm
  • B: from neckline, down the back, to coccyx
  • C: from back of knee, under buttocks, to coccyx

Pro Tip: For most accurate results measure B + C together, then keeping the tape in the same place measure just B and subtract it from the total to give the value of C
