The Opera® Signature Comfort Dual Profiling Bed does not have side rails as the footboard is not high enough to accommodate the rails.
In the event of a power cut, the Opera® profiling beds have a 29v battery back-up which has enough power to get the bed back into a flat position.
If a handle or loop is needed at the side of the bed to assist with getting in and out then we can supply the bed with a grab rail which can fit on either side of the bed in the desired position.
In the event of your electric bed breaking down, call 0333 222 8584 and speak with our in-house product support team who will go through the issue with you and try to troubleshoot over the phone. If the issue requires an engineer visit then this can be arranged within 24-48 hours.
All our profiling and adjustable beds are covered by a 3-year warranty which includes 3 years parts and 1-year labour cover. We offer two upgrade plans (read more) if you would like to buy additional cover for your Opera bed.
The Signature Comfort Dual has two individual mattress platforms, this allows each user to control their bed separately using their own handset. When the bed is raised or lowered the whole bed moves as one on the standard 5ft or 6ft dual beds. Only the Super King Split (6ft) will allow each side of the bed to raise and lower separately.
The Signature Comfort Dual comes in a King (5ft), Super King (6ft) or Super King Split (6ft) size. The King and Super King feature the dual mattress platform for individual control of each side of the bed within the same bed frame. The Super King Split (6ft) is made up of two individual mattress platforms with independent bed frames. Therefore, the bed can be split down the middle and function as two totally separate beds, ideal for carer access.
