Life at Burlington Hall
Burlington Hall consists of 53 single rooms and 1 companion room, all equipped with en-suite facilities. The residence is divided into smaller units and features multiple lounges, sitting areas, and dining rooms. It is equipped with two passenger lifts and offers wheelchair access to all areas within the facility. Furthermore, the home is also recognised for its award-winning landscaped garden is the perfect location for residents to enjoy calming and beautiful surroundings.
When it comes to types of care, the team at Burlington Hall offer over 12 different types, ranging from dementia care to end-of-life care. The care team pride itself on fostering a collaborative approach with resident families, to help build strong relationships to meet resident's needs and wishes.
At Burlington Hall, the activity programs are tailored to suit the preferences and capabilities of the residents – some of which are held in the gardens. Additionally, the care home has its own activity centre where the dedicated team organises daily programmes. Meanwhile, residents can also expect regular entertainment which includes live music, pet therapy and fashion shows.
Following its recent refurbishment, Burlington Hall boasts a pleasant, social atmosphere with stunning decorated lounges, bedrooms and more. To complement the newly decorated bedrooms within the home, Opera were the chosen supplier of the nursing beds and mattresses.
The Opera Classic Low Upholstered was the perfect choice for the 18 en-suite bedrooms at Burlington Hall, offering the nursing functionality for resident care, whilst looking like a homely and inviting piece of furniture. The Classic Low is an ideal solution for care homes looking to provide comfort, safety, and versatility for residents with varying needs.
Designed with a lower height range (22cm-62cm), this bed offers easier access and reduces the risk of falls, making it particularly suitable for residents with mobility issues. Furthermore, the Classic Low offers a range of positions for the user with the adjustable back and leg-rest section. For more complex resident care needs, the Classic Low has a Trendelenburg tilt feature. This feature allows trained caregivers to better assist residents with postural or respiratory conditions.
To enhance the bed's stylish design, the project team customised the Classic Low by selecting the Truffle Denver Oak finish and Lichtgrau Leather headboard insert. This added a modern and homely touch to each of the bedrooms, creating a welcoming environment for the residents.
